Navigating our world can be challenging. Everything is changing constantly, and we are trying to change to keep up. This can be tough and overwhelming. Suppose you are not sure how to manage the powerful feelings that surface, such as anger, sadness, and/or anxiety. I can help you find the tools to downshift your emotional responses so the overwhelmed feelings fade over time.

Therapy can help you find your center again, your balance in life. We may need to explore your past and current experiences on your journey toward finding your balance. 

You are not alone. I am here to guide, challenge, and help you process through hidden and visible wounds so you may find your new direction in life.

Do you feel you do not fit the “traditional” relationship structures?

For couples struggling in their relationships,

trying to figure out how to rebuild a connection or formulate new connections, whether it is polyamory, ethical non-monogamy, BDSM/Kink, or monogamy, can be challenging. I believe there is no wrong path, no wrong door. I am here to help you feel comfortable and emotionally safe with whatever path you choose.

For those who love the same gender, a different gender, or multiple gender identities,

you are trying to navigate not just your relationship but the world you both, or all, live in, which is not always kind or tolerant to those who do not follow the “norm.”   This can put stress on a relationship. Together, we can figure out how to navigate this environment and learn ways to keep your relationship(s) strong and stable.

Do you have trouble with intrusive thoughts of past pain/trauma, making it hard to focus, concentrate, and/or sleep?

Trauma-informed and/or trained therapists have different views on whether trauma can be permanently eliminated.  I believe the trauma is a part of you; it shaped who you are as an individual, and part of the healing is coming to understand how it has shaped your behaviors, your worldview, and how you connect with others.  In therapy, we will process your memories so you may find meaning in your traumatic experiences, and so you can lead a life of hope and happiness that feels authentic to you.

Satya is able to quickly grasp the needs of the patient(s). She's super insightful and provides useful activities that help you look at things from a new perspective. She creates a welcoming environment and is such a joy to work with!
